On July 20, the Tsinghua-Jiangsu Institute of Urban Planning & Design Joint Practice Base for graduate students was inaugurated.

    President of Jiangsu Institute of Urban Planning and Design (JUP) Zou Jun and Vice Secretary of SOE Committee of CPC Liu Jianguo unveiled the placard of the Practice Base. Vice Secretary of JUP’s CPC Committee Zhang Qiyun, chief leaders of different departments, group leader of graduate affairs of SOE Sun Fu, and the seven SOE graduate students who took part in the employment practice in total around 20 people attended the ceremony.

    Zou Jun said in order to make JUP a leader of low carbon and ecological urban and rural planning institute, JUP needs universities like Tsinghua to supply talents with strong expertise and interdisciplinary vision. Liu Jianguo hoped the cooperation could help improve the personnel of SOE, and also the geographical and industry distribution of Graduates.
